2015 is on track to our best year ever for sales. The steadily improving economy, our ever-growing base of collectors and our expansion into a second gallery space, have all contributed to great sales this year.
From time to time, I like to post images of recent sales. It’s fun to see work that has caught our buyer’s attention, and it’s a good reminder that art is selling – something that is easy to forget if your sales have been a bit slow.
It’s important to remember that this is not a reflection of trends in the broader market, and I hope no one will look at this artwork and say “I guess I better paint abstracts, because that’s what Xanadu is selling.” You will see a pretty broad range of styles and subject matter, but it is a reflection of our focus over the last several months. This sampling of some of our recent sales reflects a combination of in-gallery sales, online sales and sales from our Art Catalogue.
It’s also fun to see where some of our buyers are coming from (We’ve also had buyers from Canada, Germany, and England):

How Have Your Sales Been Through 2015?
How have your sales been this year? Post your observations (and links to images of sold work if you would like) in the comments below.
Thanks for posting these Jason. It’s fun to see all the different art forms.
Jason, What a nice service this is to your artists and to your collectors! It was a treat to look through all the art that has sold. Thank you — and congratulations on a successful year!
Wow, a lot of sculptures sold…love the bronze artist painting and kids twirling other kids. All beautiful work! Very interesting to see some of the art in the collectors home and where the collector displayed it!
Thank you for sharing all of the art. It is interesting to see the art established in the homes of your clients.
Great works and really good to see them installed.
I’m honored to be a part of Xanadu’s success. I couldn’t be more grateful for all you do to help countless artists realize their dreams. Thank you for your diligent support 🙂
Thank you for posting… Such beautiful works, and a wonderful variety of styles, techniques, and subject.
Well done Jason! Looks like Xanadu has done well. That’s interesting how well sculptures have done. Vibrant colour also seems to have been popular. It’s been a good year here too. Lots of sales, commissions and a huge amount of work. From appearing on national television, magazine articles, all workshops sold out early and an invite to appear on television in the US. I can’t say I’m disappointed with 2015 at all! It already looks like 2016 is going to be just as busy.
Great to hear Xanadu gallery! This year sales have more than tripled for me. Some of the work sold can be found on my website bgmodern.org or the google + page.
What was the piece Bravo Pierre made of….it was so beautiful.
Thanks, Jason, for a glimpse of the Xanadu Gallery successful sales. It is obvious that a nice variety of work appeals to your collectors. With the opening of Xanadu 2, I’m hoping that your success will double. Let me know how I can help, please.
I am both exhilarated to see all the art sold, AND. discouraged as well. These fabulous artworks are not (and as usual are never, ever) in my medium.
Hi Jason,
It’s always interesting to see what you sell…very informative. I’ve sold 5 pieces since Oct 1st and several with some serious interest. I think the economy is getting better.
Thanks for sharing the sold art. Your 3D pieces are amazing! Congratulations to you and the artists. Arlene
Interesting to see Xanadu sales. Though none of my sales have been through Xanadu as yet, it has been my best year ever. Thank you, Jason.
I would say that when it’s all calculated I will be down a bit overall, but having been hit by illness for about 3 months I would say I’ve had better sales for the time invested. I’m in the process of retooling and I’m excited about 2016.
I’ve always wanted to see from galleries, like XANADU, what art sells. What’s wonderful is that it’s diverse in theme and medium. The only similarity is the excellent quality and craftsmanship.
Still not at my goal, but making steady progress. I miss seeing watercolor included in sales. Guess I need to break out my oils again!
I can’t see how to include an image, oh well.
