Xanadu Gallery’s Mentorship Program is Now Open for Applications

Our mentorship program is now open for applications. For those of you who haven’t participated in the mentorship program before, it is one of the coolest programs we produce at Xanadu Gallery.

In short, I select an artist to work one-on-one with over the course of about 8 months, and together we examine the artist’s work for consistency, quality, and marketability, we look over the artist’s studio and business practices, we create optimized portfolios, bios and artist’s statements, and we prepare the artist to approach galleries. In addition to that, the selected artist has the opportunity to show their work in Xanadu Gallery, and we explore how clients are reacting to it and begin to generate sales and see how the artist/gallery relationship works.

The best part about the program is that everyone who applies gets to sit in on bi-weekly broadcasts that we do online, and we all learn together. By participating in the Mentorship program, you will gain inside knowledge of what it takes to be a successful artist.

Applications are open now and remain open through July 7th, 2017, however, registration is limited, so I would encourage you to apply now.
