    I have been on your email list for several years and I have found your gallerist point of view
    helpful on many topics.

    The point of my writing today is to request a topic for a future blog post, a topic I would benefit to
    learn your views about.

    Recently I took a class on selling and customer engagement for artists. Most of the students had been selling previously but I am new to the selling role. They suggested we make a list of frequently asked questions and common objections we had encountered when trying to sell our art. The purpose was to be prepared in advance for them, and have approaches worked out ahead of time. (For example: at an art fair, customer from out of town who is hesitating, artist knows he is from out of town and offers to
    personally pack and ship the work to his home so he doesn’t have to carry it around).

    This all makes a lot of sense to me , but with my lack of experience I can only guess.

    Please consider teaching us your most commonly encountered questions (and answers if you wish), and the most common objections ( and possible solutions if you are inclined).

    This will help out any artists you are instructing with sales/engagement issues from your extensive experience.
