RedDot Podcast | Episode 019 | An Interview with Texas Artist Nancy Balmert

Nancy Balmert wouldn’t change a thing about her nascent art career. Balmert began painting in 2000 and was mentored by fellow Texan Dalhart Windberg. She has since been picked up by galleries in Scottsdale, AZ, Texas and New York. In this episode of the RedDot Podcast, I interviewed Balmert and asked her to share the story of her journey as she transitioned to pursue her art career.

  1. What an inspiring story about Nancy Balmert and her artistic journey. I enjoyed this interview podcast and checking out her website. It has given me some ideas to adapt for my own development as an artist. Thank you.

Thanks again Jason for another inspiring podcast, i listen to all of them as I paint and create in my own studio. Thank you also to Nancy Balmert for your insight as an established artist. I am a self taught artist and never had the opportunity of lessons or a mentor, have no one to help me with my sales nor my website, however I have made it to signature status with FCA here in Canada. After hearing your story and seeing your art works i am excited to finally approach galleries in the new year with my work. Being an artist can be disillusioning but your example proves it possible to be a recognized artist.
