Survival Guide For Artists

How to Thrive in the Creative Arts

A Powerful New Book by Internationally Acclaimed Artist and Author Elena Parashko

A Note From Xanadu Gallery Owner Jason Horejs

CoverFollowers of RedDot Blog know that I strive to provide information to help you better navigate the business side of your career. I’m able to draw on two+ decades of experience in the gallery business to provide what I hope are useful insights into how galleries work, the sales process and how to better market your work.

I’m frequently contacted by artists who want to improve other aspects of their creative practices.

“How do I overcome a lack of inspiration?”

“How can I cultivate my creativity?”

“How can I overcome rejection?”

“What can I do to meet the stresses of an artistic life?”

are among the many questions I receive. Unfortunately, these questions fall outside the range of my expertise as a gallery owner. While my focus on the business of art doesn’t prepare me to answer these questions, I understand how critical they are to an artist. I also realize that an artist has to understands how to navigate the complex landscape of creativity to deal with the challenges that face every artist.

That’s why I’m excited to announce that Xanadu Gallery’s Red Dot Press has published a new book by artist and author Elena Parashko. I first became aware of Elena’s writing in the Professional Artist Magazine where she is a contributing writer. Artists who follow Elena’s writing know that she offers insights into unlocking creative potential and practical advice to overcome the challenges an artist faces.

pagesElena’s innovative Survival Guide for Artists is a new guidebook that will help you navigate your creative life. While the Survival Guide is full of practical insights and can be read straight through to help you develop your professional art career, it can also be used like a travel guide. Whenever you are facing a particular challenge or are presented with an opportunity, you can return to the book to find guidance.

I invite you to learn more about the Survival Guide for Artist below, and, if you are ready to become a more productive, inspired and successful artist, order your copy today.
