Lane’s formal education in the furniture arts was marked by a series of impressive milestones, including a Wood Furniture Restoration degree in 1997, an Upholstery degree in 1998, and an Interior Design associate’s degree in 2003.

However, the call of the canvas proved too strong for Lane to resist. Through life’s challenges, Lane found herself drawn back to her true love for fine art. Her tenacity and commitment to her craft led her to intensive painting classes and programs in 2019, and her art career quickly took off.

Nestled in the heart of Milan, MO, Lane’s studio resides within the walls of a historic 1900s commercial brick building. Once a meeting room for the Mason’s lodge, the second-floor space now serves as the canvas for Lane’s captivating artwork.
